It’s still the exciting part of a new year but that begs the question: what are the queers listening to?

In the year 2023 it seems as if everyone has a podcast these days but out of all those what are our favourites here at Queer and Questioning Blog. I feel like I should preface by saying I might have fallen down the Ashley Gavin podcast pipeline, however, if you enjoyed last year’s March podcast then you will definitely like this January podcast. This year we are sitting back and listening to Chosen Family by Alayna Joy, Ashley Gavin, and Mak Ingemi. This podcast is my comfort podcast!
The podcast star three (3) extremely queer individuals with different unique personalities and perspectives of the world. As someone that binged the first three episodes in one sitting, I can tell you this podcast was exactly what I needed. I had been following the three channels for some time now and their personalities seem to mesh so perfectly creating the imperfectly perfect family. It’s not the heterosexual family structure you see on the television it's queer and it’s better. In our little family we have Alayna Joy as the mother figure (mommy), Ashley Gavin as the father figure (daddy) and our youngest member Mak Ingemi as the baby. In each episode, we gather around the dinner table and we sit around the dinner table and speak about almost anything and everything queer. The dinner table feels like coming home for Christmas dinner and being excited to see your family after a long year, with nothing but laughs and good energy.
